The fully equipped state-of-the-art kitchen is located at the intermediary level of Casa Geniol and offers all the comforts. The dinner table in the kitchen seats 8. Through the enormous picture window the horizon seems within one's reach, bringing enjoyment to the breakfast table. Two partially covered terraces expand this level and open the opportunity to eat outside even if the weather is bad.
The living room as the heart of the house is centrally located. It is one of the architectural highlights of Casa Geniol. It allows a view over a large part of the house from the cosy seating arrangement in front of the fireplace. Whoever has the courage can risk a jump into the 4 x 8 meter large pool from the terrace covered with wooden planks.
The lower level is bathed in light. The wellness area is located at this level. It includes a walled steam bath, two waterfall showers, one toilet and one relaxation room with bathtub and ergometer. The washing machine and a massive safe to safe keep your valuables are also at this level.

Coming by plane, You will land on the airport of Malaga, 'Aeropuerto de Malaga', taking a rental car right there will offer You a convenient possibility to reach 'La Herradura' in about an hours drive.
When You leave the airport, first follow the signs 'A7 Malaga', then 'N-340', take the overpass, keep right and drive on the highway A 7.
Head into the direction 'Motril-Sevilla-Granada'. After about 70 kilometers leave the highway through exit 305 'Almunecar Oueste - La Herradura'. On stateroute N-340 turn left into the direction 'La Herradura' and continue until You reach a traffic-light. Turn right and enter the village. Follow the street down till you reach the sea, make a left turn - after about 200 meters You hit 'El Bambu' on the right side, directly on the beach.

The Bedrooms
All our bedrooms provide comfortable queen size beds (63x79 in) and are equipped with individual, remote-controlled air-condition, own terrace with spectacular sea view. The master bedroom located on the very top of the house extends itself over two levels an has an additional reading sofa, a flat screen SAT-TV set and a big, modern wardrobe.The two smaller bedrooms have direct access to the garden and on top of the air-condition ceiling fans.All bedrooms have their own bathroom with toilet en suite.
The bathrooms
The bathrooms in Casa Geniol are all equipped with large showers, have their own toilet an are directly accessible from the bedrooms, what garantuees a lot of privacy and independance from the rest of the house. The modern washstands offer a lot of storage space, you will find many practical trays, an infrared heater in the ceiling and a 220V plug.
The kitchen
The modern kitchen is located on the lightflooded central level of the house and provides everything one doesn´t want to miss at home or on holidays. A great selection of kitchen utensils as well as microwave, ceramic hob, extractor fan, oven an a spacious refrigerator leave no wishes open. On request we can also provide a Nespresso machine.
You will find a big dining table for up to 8 persons directly in the kitchen, a second table of equal size is is ready to use on the partial coverd kitchen terrace, which You reach via a self-supporting gangway over the livingroom.
The livingroom
The livingroom is one of the architectural highlights of Casa Geniol. From here You have direct acess to the covered livingroom-terrace with a wooden floor, ideal for a secluded sunbath or shady hours of leisure.
The livingroom has a fireplace which can be fired on request, a spacious, comfortable sofa-group, a TV-set with DVD-player and SAT-receiver and an iPod soundsystem.
The library
Our good sorted library suits as ideal retreat or to accommodate a seventh guest. A great selection of books and illustrated books invites to read or to conclude an adventurous day in front of the fireplace which is well supplied candles.
The welness area
In the bright basement of the house You will find the steambath, two fountain showers and a big bath tub. If You want to do some physical exercise You can use our modern Tunturi ergometer, swing some barbells or stay in shape with the abdominal trainer. On this level we also provide the washing machine, a solid safe and a comfortable rest bed.
